Information on verifying domestic VAT numbers (VAT ID) in the VIES system:
Dear VAT payers,
We would like to inform you about the current situation with the display of newly registered VAT payers and identified persons in the European VIES system. Data on entities registered from 1st of January 2025 to the present should already be displayed in VIES by default. Data on currently registered entities may be available in VIES with a certain time delay.
In case of problems, you can verify your VAT registration directly in the domestic VAT Register, which can be found in both Czech and English version on the tax portal “Moje daně”/”My taxes” (www.mojedane.cz). This register serves as the primary source for the VIES system and contains current data.
Given the above, we recommend that you check your registration data in the domestic VAT Register and in the VIES system. In case of any discrepancy, please do not hesitate to contact our help-line or e-mail:
