Minister of Finance awarded TOP 20 legal entities
On 28 May 2015, the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic together with the General Financial Directorate organized the 13th annual announcement of legal entities who contributed most significantly to the national budget with the legal entity income tax. The ceremonial event took place at the Břevnov monastery. The award – a glass plaque – received top 20 legal entities for 2014 from hands of the Minister of Finance, Mr. Andrej Babiš and the Director General of the Financial Administration of the Czech Republic, Mr. Martin Janeček.
“I believe that the companies, which have received this symbolical award, belong to the category of accountable taxpayers, which have had an interest in better collection of taxes in the Czech Republic. In respect of it there will be a fair conditions as well as no reason for increasing of taxes, except for lotteries,” said Mr. Babiš.
The list of the awarded companies was compiled according to the amounts of payments made on account of the legal entity income tax during 2014.
“In 2014, also thanks to you, the legal entity income tax was collected in the amount of CZK 123 billion, which is increased by CZK 10 billion compared to 2013,” said Mr. Janeček.
